Samaia announces a new show after the success in Bucharest
May 2008 The world premiere of the show “Samaia – The Georgian Legends” took place in Bucharest to celebrate the International Dance Day, and achieved massive success and applauses of several minutes from behalf of the Romanian audience. For an hour and a half, the audience of Bucharest was charmed by the vivid rhythms of the ancient Caucasian warriors’ dances, but also by the beautiful female dancers who enchanted viewers due to their grace and elegance. The performance was an impressive combination of traditional and modern music and dance, a mix that fully proves that traditional values adequately promoted by a talented producer may successfully represent a nation. The producer of the show, Pascal Jourdan, accomplished to provide the audience a complex performance, and thus showed that although he is at the beginning of his career, he has great managerial skills and is able to properly represent Caucasian culture, as his performance is more valuable than consecrated shows such as “World Dance” and “World Music.” For all of those who could not attend the world premiere of the show “Samaia ” the producers promised a second performance in October 2008. |
